Ok so 5 weeks before my wedding and my makeup/ hair artist (who is a family friend and has been promising to be there for me for a year) just cancelled. Now I am trying to work into my budget hair and make up for at least myself and my mom. Does anyone know anybody who is reasonable? My venue is in Baldwin, NY.

Are you looking to go to a salon or someone come to you? I am using Sandra Baldini and Hair Genie. Both reasonable prices IMO, though I'm sure they have at least a 3 person minimum. Good luck with your search :)

lorraine hunter for makeup - she's at saks in huntington mall at the chanel counter...used to be at bobbi brown and has also worked with trish mcevoy....uses all high end makeup, reasonable prices...give her a call! not sure that she has a minimum...

I don't know if she's available, but she did my trial and she was fantastic.
If anyone is looking for a makeup artist for themselves or bridal party, here is a link to my page. I charge reasonable prices and use very good quality makeup. I also now do individual eyelash application with Benefit Cosmetics as well as Eyebrow shaping.

go to oceanside! platinum salo. giselle owns the salon. and raquel is amazing at make up trust me you will love them

You can try Hair and Makeup Artistry by Gina Marie
She is very down to earth, reasonable priced and does amazing work! PS.and she even travels to you.
