Hair/Make-up question

Hair/Make-up question

So I had my trial in Feb or Mar and I loved it at the time- But FH REALLY prefers my hair down. After the trial I took my hair down so FH couldn't see the style and when I took it down it came out in these amazing curls-
and when I walked out FH said 'I thought I wasn't supposed to see your hair' and I explained it wasn't what I had done he said 'Oh...' and when I asked he said he loved it.

So now I am torn- should I wear my hair down? It is going to be July and the ceremony is outdoors- I think it might be too hot but I liked the way it looked also...what do you think?

Don't mind my disgusting mirror

If you like it, then I think you should leave it down. My friend left her hair down on July 14th.... she lucked out...no humidity and she was totally fine. Actually a very nice summer day. Will anyone be on hand to help put it up afterwards? In case you get hot while dancing? If so.... leave it down. :)

What about having it up for the ceremony and then taking it down for the reception? Best of both worlds. :)

is the reception indoors/outdoors. if it is indoors you will probably be fine only having you hair down for the ceremony

You are probably right!
Assuming of course that the weather hold up!

Re: Hair/Make-up question

Hey- just wanted to comment that I know a lot of ladies who have gotten married, and one almost universal comment I got before I got married was to definitely wear it up for the wedding, because once you dance, you will look like a hot mess if it's down. Do you want to take the chance you'll get a perfect hair day in July? Your hair down may look INSANE at the beginning of the day, but if it's warm, and you sweat, well, you know what happens. Either way, I'm sure you'll be gorgeous, and I've seen pics of a lot of ladies on here who did wear their hair down, and it always looked gorgeous, so what do I know! Just my two cents. And btw- I used Nicole D'Angio, and I wouldn't have believed that the thing I would hear the most about at my wedding was my hair, but people couldn't believe it. She does it so it looks completely soft and natural, and maybe that's something FH likes about it when it's down. Either way, good luck, and I'm sure you'll be beautiful!!

I would definitely keep it up! Between the weather, the hot dress, the dancing you'll be miserable all night and probably sweat the curls out. JMO, but I would still go with up!

Met with my makeup artist again today who came to do my mom's makeup trial.

I also asked her to give me another look prior to the one before since I didn't take pictures the first time around. I love her, she's amazing and super sweet!

Just do whatever you like best, you have to look at those pictures years down the line so make sure you go with what youre most comfortable with. I personally hate my hair all up so for me there was no option, i would've dealt with humidity and all that. But like i said, i really dislike my hair all up, i don't mind it in person but i hate myself in pics when my hair is up, and even in person actually I prefer it down.

I got married in May, so it's a bit different than July.

Do what you like and feel comfortable with. I'm getting married in July and plan on wearing my hair down. I hate the way it looks up. I'd rather be hot and have my hair down.
