Hair/Make-up Trial!

My honest opinion is that the blue is too much. That is just how I feel. If you did a darker color I think that would be nice.Other than that, the rest is fine. :) From your E-pics, you look and you are gorgeous! I feel like the trial took away some of that.

The blue sort of washes your eyes out. You have gorgeous blue eyes, and they would pop with a darker color.

There are some colors that seem to be made for blue eyes. Icy pinks, silver, gold and violet all come to mind. You can expand your selection by also choosing taupe, gray, and other purples, like lavender.

I think a dark purple will look beautiful on you. I love blue eyes, and I am so jealous, b/c when you use a dark color or do a smokey eye, they stand out and are AMAZING. Why don't you try some makeup on yourself, and see what you like best. Even if you aren't the greatest at applying it, just get some of the colors above, at the dollar store, or CVS and try them on. It may be cheaper than paying for another trial.

Thank you for the feedback! I felt the same way, but my aunt and my mom kept telling me it looked great. I had no clue what I wanted for make-up, so I just told her I wanted a natural look. I thought the blue was a little much, but I didn't know what to suggest instead. She was great, so I am sure she could do something else...but I don't know what. She said she wanted to make my eyes pop. I am just nervous because I don't want to pay for another trial, but I don't want to try something the morning of my wedding and hate it!

You told her you wanted a natural look and she gave you blue eyeshadow? lol I thought that was like a no no in the makeup world haha.

Family will tell you everything is GREAT no matter what.. my hair trial was a failure and my FMIL said I looked wonderful...lol...

Maybe you could do another trial with the same girl esp. since everything else looked great... .or maybe just play around w/ eyeshadow colors at home.?

ITA... You are soooooooo beautiful! I think just a softer color would look amazing on you.

in my honest opinion - and i mean this in the best way - you are WAY prettier & much more gorgous then the blue eye shadows made u out to be in those photos! It is just a tad too much.. From a makeup artists standpoint, i can honestly tell you that putting blue eyeshadow on blue eyes does NOT bring out the eye color. I would do the same look, but with either bronzy or gray tones...THEN your eyes will pop u can even go into the plum family if u wanted...but bronzes or grays will make ur eyes look amazing other than that i think u look beautiful... just my 2cents!
ps: call them and see abuot another trial...they usually reccommend that u go through any changes the day of ur initial trial, but if u're honest with them - i doubt they'd fully charge u for another full trial...see if they'll do it for half price or something?? also - don't settle! this is your makeup & the way you will look! there's nothing wrong with going & seeing someone else too and speak up when ur not sure of the look! the artists job is to work untill ur happy..that's what a trial is for! hth
