Hair/Makeup NYC?

Anyone have any recommendations of a place to get hair (blowout) and makeup done in NYC? Preferably near midtown or the west side?

I love these salons in NYC

Gloria Cabrera (3 East 44th Street (Bet. 5th and Madison Avenue http://www.feelgoodny.com/), I go to them all the time. They have a special for blow outs for $25, they also do really great deals like 3 services of your choice (like say makeup, mani/pedi and hair) for like $100 something. I believe they have a makeup artist.

Spoon (w. 22 btw 5th & 6th) http://www.soonbeautylab.com/: a bit more expensive than the other two, but still reasonable and Jessica is incredible. They don't officially do makeup but they have a few girls who are trained and can do it. There is a MAC store right near there and I believe they do makeup for free there, so that's another option!

Hey. i had a trial with Rouge makeup studio. They do airbrush / traditional with individual fake lashes. They are a little more expensive but Anne does make you look flawless and natural. and they are very sweet and will listen to what you want. They don't do hair but have referals.

I didn't use them for two reasons: 1) price 2) she seems a little less experienced with Asian faces. But if you are fine, you should try them.

For make up, try Kimberly. Her prices are realistic and she creates really nice work.
