Hair/Makeup Stress

Hair/Makeup Stress

Ladies I am having SUCH a hard time with hair and makeup...
I have been to 3 makeup trials and 2 hair trials and have not been happy yet... I don't know what to do except keep trying but trials can be expensive and I can't just keep going. I don't want to settle for something I am not completely happy with, and I don't want to hire someone, unsure if they will do exactly what I'm looking for.

Part of the problem may be that I'm not 100% sure what I am looking for b/c I feel like I need to see a few hair styles done on me before I can really decide what I want exactly. Also I don't wear makeup so its again hard to kwno what I want before seeing some different makeup styles on myself...

I thought maybe going to a regular salon and playing with some updo's, on a cheaper scale, might be a better option, then going for one more trial with the style I know i want to use...?

Any suggestions on how to curb my anxiety here?
Is anyone else having such a hard time with hair and makeup? I did not expect this to be the most stressful part of my planning...

go to kacey at khouloud's beauty!!! she's great and she will do a bunch of different styles for you and tell you what looks good with your dress, face, etc.!

OMG I thought I was the only one. I have had 5 trials and still do not have someone that I like for hair and make up!!!!

Please let me know if you find anyone - oh that is reasonably priced as well.

Re: Hair/Makeup Stress

i did 4 hair and make up trials

i also wasn;t 100% sure what I wanted

I ended up booking with Stacy from About Face Artistry and Lauren from Beautiful Brides (they work together almost all the time but don't have to)

I adored them both and they both knew exactly what I was describing. Pics are in my album called Final Hair and Makeup. Good luck!
