I have a hair/makeup trial with Kelly from Glam me up tomorrow. How much is everyone tipping for a hair/makeup trial?

OOH let me know how it goes! I presume you should tip the same as you would in a salon, or if you book on the spot, you can always just tip after the wedding.

My trial went really well. Kelly was really awesome. I don't wear makeup at all. Chapstick is my makeup lol. Kelly suggested the airbrush makeup so it wouldn't feel so heavy and it really did feel like nothing was on my face. Even the eyelashes she applied felt very light. I didn't want my makeup to look overdone and she applied just the right amount. LIsa did my hair. I showed her a picture of an updo I wanted. She replicated the hair design tailored more to me since I will be wearing a tiara and the girl in the picture wasn't. Overall everything came out really well. I didn't book with them yet because I do have an appointment with Christna Amador and Randi Ross on 5/27 and I would like to compare.

I had a trial with Glam Me Up yesterday too, you must have been right before me!! I liked them a lot too, but also didnt book bc I want to try one more person. I liked them and thought they were very talented.

I did airbrush. I don't ever wear makeup so Kelly suggested the airbrush since it is lighter then traditional. I really didn't feel like I had anything on my face the whole day. My appointment was at 10am and the makeup still great at 10pm. She did say however since June is usually hot and my face tends to get oily, I would just have to blot my face with blotting papers which she provides.
