So i got my hair and makeup done yesterday. I loved my hair till i took the pics but I am trying to remind myself it was 13 hours AFTER the trial (at like 10 pm because I was at my best friend's shower and then we went to a bar) when I finally got my hands on a camera, soo....I need some lovin here guys! Bad, good?
I know the skin isnt great-I am breaking out like crazy lately and I have an oily T-zone always. But the pics 7-10 are from today when I just let the bangs down. Better down or back? Hate the whole style? I loved it back yesterday when I had the headpiece in, but looking at the pics makes me feel my face is too long and horsey for it. I need my ladies advice on this. Thanks! bang back...it looks more formal....the bangs forward looks like a hairstyle you would wear toa really nice event or a friends wedding. Bangs back looks more like a wedding style to me

Wow, your hair looks great. I like it with the bangs back. You have beautiful eyes, so they are somewhat hidden when your bangs are down.

Thanks guys. I feel better now. As I get older I am starting to look more and more like my dad instead of my mom who I've always looked more like, and the whole 'Oh my God I look like a man!' fears come into play-ridiculous I know!
I am thinking I will go with the bangs back because its going to be HOT and I am afraid my bangs will frizz and curl up which is so not cute -puffy curls galore!
The makeup and hair lasted awesome. My girl was great. The company is called Marlene Kurland's Makeup agency-based out of california and they have nationwide offices. Very professional and they are extremely affordable in context-$150 for makeup and hair trial and then $100 apiece for makeup and hair on the day of the wedding. Pricier than I wanted but WAY better than $185-$225 for makeup alone which is what alot of places I called were charging.
The artist, Fedora is a free-lancer who grew up in the business-her mom owns a salon- and she used plain old loreal foundation and I didnt pay attention to what else but nada super fancy or expensive though she did rave about the Smashbox primer and was happy I used it.
Originally she did my makeup more dramatically and my FH actually liked that better-slightly smokier eye with red lip. I thought it was too dark for a morning wedding because of what girls here have said about being more natural for early weddings, but should I go with the sexier look because he likes it?

So as you can see, I vote for bangs back. I think it looks great either way, but back is a bit more elegant and like you said, less chance for it to frizz etc.
I honestly think the makeup looks great as is - I wouldn't change it to a sexier look, but that's mostly because I haven't seen pics of that. But I do think this makeup is perfect for you and for your wedding day!

Thanks Yeenia. Whats funny is I actually saved the pics of your trial for mine lol. Your colors would wash out on my skin but I showed them to my artist and said, 'See how natural and lowy her look is? I want to look like that.'

I LOVE it!!!! It looks great. I like the bangs better back. You look stunning and it seems like it will hold for hours.
