Hair/Makeup Trial UPDATE

So i got my hair and makeup done yesterday. I loved my hair till i took the pics but I am trying to remind myself it was 13 hours AFTER the trial (at like 10 pm because I was at my best friend's shower and then we went to a bar) when I finally got my hands on a camera, soo....I need some lovin here guys! Bad, good?

I know the skin isnt great-I am breaking out like crazy lately and I have an oily T-zone always. But the pics 7-10 are from today when I just let the bangs down. Better down or back? Hate the whole style? I loved it back yesterday when I had the headpiece in, but looking at the pics makes me feel my face is too long and horsey for it. I need my ladies advice on this. Thanks! bangs back, definitely! i love your hair! mine is about the same length - i might steal your idea!!!


Steal away! I have others in my hair ideas album. All for short hair. I was surpised how well it came out and it was quick!

I LOVE it!!!! It looks great. I like the bangs better back. You look stunning and it seems like it will hold for hours.


LOTS of hairspray! The pics with bangs down were from next morning and the curls still looked pretty ok.

Whats funny is I actually saved the pics of your trial for mine lol. Your colors would wash out on my skin but I showed them to my artist and said, 'See how natural and lowy her look is? I want to look like that.'

Awww, thanks! That's so sweet - I think you definitely achieved a 'natural' look that still looks like you are 'done' - I personally am not too fond of the full natural look for weddings (when you can't tell there's any blush or color etc), but I really think yours looks great! And I'm loving the hair style too! You're going to be such a beautiful bride!

Yep elegant Bride-Lots of variations on the style with the same model. Love it because it looks elegant without being 'done.' I didnt want to look like I was playing dress up. thanks!

Thanks girls. I love ya all. So much nicer on these boards than the knot. OYE the drama over there! Well cept for those two unknowns who voted hate it but no cojones to say why. Ah well. To think after 46 days, no more for me cause I will be marrrried!

Really like both looks!!! But if I had to choose, I would say that your bangs look better pinned back...

Thanks guys. I have 4 hate its! Hmm and yet not ONE has the 'gumption' to say why. Could it be because A.) they are simply miserable and want to be obnoxious B.) they don't like the style and makeup colors on me OR instead of thinking of what looks good on me are thinking of their personal tastes... So many questions!
