I really like a half up/half down hair style...something similiar to this picture, with a clip on the side. Maybe something like Lauren's hair at twoty?

Anyway, I have it in my mind that I want a cathedral length veil. But I just can't seem to picture the clip on the side with a cathedral length veil. Does anyone have any pics of this?
If you don't, how do you think it will look? Would it look weird? Honestly?? I'm trying to envision it in my mind and I just cant seem to...I feel like there's something awkward about it. Please help with your opinions!!

i know exactly what you're saying but i think i might be doing it too. i tried it on yeserday with the veil and all (a cathedral) and it looked great, i promise. ill try to find a pic for you

ok honestly i don't think it matters what length the veil is. i'm having the same issue because i want the side hairstyle, i have side combs, and i can't picture it with the veil. best i can tell you is that when i go for my next fitting i will take a lot of pics!

ugh well i keep going back and forth. i think i might but thing is, my bm has a beautiful tiara that i wasnt going to wear but now that my gown is much more simple, i might wear it but i have to wait till i see her on feb 21 (shes in nj) so after i get that and my first fitting on feb 25, ill let you know what im doing. i wish i could just figure out what i definately want for my hair style though in the first place lol.
but yeah, like i said, the side comb looked great under the veil

What if you didn't use the clip with the veil, but then put it on when you took the veil off? This is what my FH's cousin did for her wedding.

I'm wearing a side comb and a cathedral. I thought the same as you at first. That it would look weird. Then I tried it on at my bridal salon and liked it. Sorry no pics though. Mom does NOT allow pics of me at all.

You know what helped me? Right after my hair trial I went and tried on veils and headpieces, so I didn't have to imagine it... I'm really bad at that.

I am having this issue right now! i need to order me veil this week and I just want to make sure its going to look good and wont ruin my hair once I take it out during the reception!
I am wearing my hair similar, with a big poff on top and having a side comb or flower/feather type thig. I am getting a cathedral which will be detacheable, or I may have it bustled. Either way Im not sure if I should get 2 tier or 3 tier. It all depends on how poofy you like it. I am def getting at least a 2 tier.
