Hairstylist/Hair Salon in Port Jefferson or Nearby

Hi All,

I'm new to the board. I am getting married this coming May and am getting ready at the Danfords Hotel & Marina. I'm looking for someone to come to my room to do my hair, my mother & my sister's. Does anybody have any recommondations for stylists/hair salons in the area in either Port Jeff or nearby?

I saw older posts from several years back for Hairport and LaCombe. Thoughts?

Just to give you a sense of my style - I'm a 'modern' bride from NYC and my dress is very couture looking (Oscar de la Renta).

I've never gotten a formal style or updo at Hairport but I used to get my hair cut there and they were AWESOME! I never had a bad experience there! I would def check them out.

Thanks ladies.

I've actually calling Nicole D'Angio and she still hasn't call me back from over a week ago! So, at this point, even if she were to call me back it makes me apprehensive to consider her. (This coming from a bride who's DJ sent a letter in the mail last week saying he could not work our wedding anymore even after signing a contract).

Is she reasonably priced? Professional?

This fee includes
One Trial appointment for Bride-Two –three hours
Digital Photographs
Taxes included

She is worth the wait- believe me! At least do a trail with her. Then you'll see what i am talking about. I have never like the way anyone cut or styled my hair until her. I am actually getting my hair cut by her tonight (for the second time). she is awesome!

It probably takes he time to get back to people because she is in high demand. Did you try emailing her?

I LOVE Tapestry in Centereach on Middle Country Road. I've been going there for 8 years as my regular salon and they did my day of hair, my mom, and my 3 BMs and did a fantastic job.

I agree..took her a while to get back to me and the correspondence was terrible but if you look at my album you can see I don't have easy hair, very curly, and she was amazing and so nice to work with.

My friend Leah owns a salon in Mt. Sinai...Tranquility Salon and Day Spa. I'm using her services as well as my sister for her wedding and my best friend used her a few years ago. I think they can also come to your home, but I'm not 100% sure. Give her a shot, Tranquility is a vendor on here.
