so I got into a little fender bender with FH's car. The accident was with some company van (their fault) and there was minimal damage to my car only. we spent like 1/2 hour filing out the company's accident report form with the driver and 2 other staff from the company (including a suit who popped out of nowhere). we all agreed not to call the police since the damage was so little and we wanted to figure it out without insurance.
they said call the company's dispatch after the new year and they will tell us what they're willing to pay for the damage. they havent gotten back to us
its only the 12th. FH has called literally twice and says he doesnt want to fight for the $$ that its a huge hassle and he will just pay for to fix the car it it takes too long. w t f???!
im upset cuz: 1. im a su cky driver 2. fh doesnt fight for this 3 the companys jerking us around. 4. the driver called FH and told him he was suspended for 2 days for not filing the police report- i feel so bad for him

dont feel bad for them... FIGHT this!!! they got into an acceident with YOU!!! and they broke the law(not fileing a police report) and why do you feel bad for them again? they should pay this to you and you should fight to get you damages!!!

well theres nothing you can do about the guy getting suspended... it was a company car...they should have reported it... but you dont know whether any of the workers had authority to make that judgement call....
as far as the other stuff... i understand that you are thinking about it ... just being the pricinple of fighting for HIS money.... guilt him about the wedding... that you need all the money you can! LOL

He needs to keep calling and pestering. Does he end up leaving a message each time or speak to someone? Can you find out if there is a parent company?

go to the company personally.
i went through somethign kind of similar, but not really (valet company) and i never fought for my $. totally regret it

no cuz the damage is estimated 200-400. and they want a few writen estimates which can cost $$.

yeah for some reason FH isnt so great at pestering ppl. i told him that i would take over (cus i can be a bltch) but he got m ad

When was the accident? I would go the police station and fill out a police report( go to the station where the accident occured). Fh should not have to pay for it. You should call them and tell them you are going down to fill out a report and they may call u back right away.
