cant decide how i should have my hair- i like the half up half down but i think it might too hot for me in june?

im getting married end of may and i am doing half up half down...i am so comfy that way plue i love the way brides look like that lol!

I'm doing my half up..or all up in a ponytail (the style that almost appears as if it were down)

i think it depends on which look you want to have and remain on your photographs... maybe you can do both styles? ie) have hair down for ceremony, and then pin it up for the reception? or vice versa? ..Maybe a good friend can help or your hair stylist can show you a easy updo? Just a thought..

I was leaning towards half up, but then realized that on July 12th it's probably going to be relatively warm. To avoid frizz and a messed up 'do, I MIGHT go all up. Not sure yet.

I am getting married in July and I plan to do half up half down. I read in a Bridal mag, that if you don't normally wear your hair up, you shouldn't wear it up for your wedding. I have no idea why, but that is what the article said. I don't know if that helps. I am not a fan of what I look like with all my hair pulled up.

I've heard the same thing. The reasoning behind it is that you don't want to look different from the way you do on any other day. You want to look like the 'best version of yourself,' that day.
You don't want to look back on pictures and say, 'Who was that???,' or, 'Why did I do that??'
(I watched a special on 20 weddings do's and don'ts yesterday...)
And, I'm doing all down, I believe, but, I'm getting married in the winter, if I were getting married in the summer, I'd be all up....... but, really, only because I get really hot and very frizzy easily! Go with what looks best and what you feel comfortable with!!

my hairstylist told me the same thing-he said 'why are you going to wear your hair up if you don't normally do that?' I am not a big fan of my up anyway-I always feel better when my hair is down and done so i am doing half up even though it's july.

I love 1/2 up 1/2 down but I will melt I think.. with the dancing.. and taking 129837129387 pictures and running around all day.. so I'm doing all up.

wonering the same thing. Leaning more towards up b/c its summer and I don't want to get the sticky to the back of the neck look for my pics

im getting married the same day...LOL I am going to wear my hair half up half down...just cause i hate my ears...LOL it will be hot i am sure, but with ur hair down, you can always put it up...my cousin does hair so if i wanted to change it...she could help me.
Plus...I just love the look of long hair and a strapless ballgown wedding dress..lol

half up half down is my fav...but then again, i really don't like the way i look w my hair all the way up so maybe that's why i like the half up so much.

im doing 1/2 up 1/2 down i think... but my wedding is in Feb so that doesnt help your question lol... but if your ceremony and reception are indoors then im sure there will be A/C on if its hot out.. so do it however you think it looks best on you!
