so FH and I have talked about the wedding a lot and we have so many ppl that need to come its getting a little out of control! I was wondering if any of you know any halls that we can rent out that is gunna seat anywhere between 220-260 people... we are gunna try and get away from the paying per person bc its to expensive...so does anyone know any halls that we can rent out for a couple hours thats nice enough for a wedding...we are gunna do everything else
Do you mean somewhere that allows you to bring in your own food from an outside caterer? And are you looking for nassau/suffolk/queens?
I think she is looking for a place that will allow you to bring your own food in for a reception.
Maybe someplace like a knights of columbus or VFW? I also heard of Dominican Village in Amityville. It's pretty nice.
Definitely check out the Seaford Memorare in Seaford. We had our E-Party there. The room is huge and they have really good rates for a wedding too. You can prob rent it out and provide all the food, but I think there wedding package is like $40 pp...
Check out the American Legion in Valley Stream. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure if it works like that there, but it is def worth a shot, and the room is QUITE large.
Oh also... The Hempstead House at Sands Point does this. I'd imagine it's a bit expensive there though.
