Hall Help!

Hall Help!

Hi Ladies! I'm new to the boards and my fiance and I are planning a July 2012 wedding. We have started the search for a reception hall. We have a very limited budget. We can really only spend about $80-85 pp. We looked at Larkfield Manor and Smithtown Landing Country Club. We like both of these places, but we have found dislikes at both of them. None of these places give us the 'wow' factor. If you ladies can please give me your opinions on these places and possible some other affordable halls that we can visit. Sorry this is sooo long! Thanks again!

Mill Pond Country Club was amazing...and totally in your price range. FM me if you want more details.

Swan Club! I got quotes for $60pp for a Friday night in November, so I'm sure it's in the $80ish range for July.

Welcome to the boards!

Maybe East Wind or Miller Place Inn?

Leonards?

Majestic Gardens, Villa Lombardi's, and Jericho Terrace. We got quotes in the area you're looking for for all 3 places on a Sunday in June (even though we wound up getting married on a Saturday eventually), even a bit cheaper! You can definitely negotiate with them! Good luck!

Maybe Stonebride Country Club (Hauppauge?)

I'd check out Leonards, Swan club, fox hollow, crest hollow cc, woodbury cc, and the riviera.

I went there and they had no prices for me. I thought that was a bit odd. what did they think I wanted? just to see the place and not be told what it cost? he mentioned maybe it was $120 pp but he wasn't sure.

I'm getting married at Smithtown Landing and Donna and Rich are nothing short of awesome.

Otherwise, I'd look into Miller Place Inn, Swan Club or Mill Pond.

Re: Hall Help!

Well what kind of hall do you want? Do you want a really fancy 'weddingy' type hall? or do you want the home feeling...like really comfortable but elegant at the same time?
