So I started looking online and through wedding magazines to narrow down my list of reception halls and its starting to get overwhelming. My fiance and I want a Fall 2013 wedding for about 120 ppl. We only went to see 1 hall but it was a little over our budget plus the manager didn't seem too interested in 'selling' the place to us. Does anyone have any price quotes for any of these places? We don't want to spend more than 100pp.
Woodbury Country Club Westbury Manor Crest Hollow Floral Terrace Villa Barone Manor- Bronx
Any information would be helpful!!!!!

Re: Hall Quotes????
Getting married this October @ Westbury Manor, we're paying $87+tax+20% service charge pp for a Friday night wedding... that doesn't include the extra stuff we added so as long as you have no extra enhancements on your menu I think it will work with your budget.

Re: Hall Quotes????
I'm getting married 8/2/13 at the Wind Watch Golf and Country Club in Hauppauge. It's one right next door to the Hyatt Hotel. Its beautiful like a hidden place. I never knew it was there until my fiance's Mom told us about it. We are getting married on a Friday night. We are having 100 guests at $65.00 per person, wtih the 20% service charge and sales tax it came to a total of about 9000 and thats including the charge for having the ceremony there. They included ALOT of stuff that they threw in for us. They are giving us red and white wine bottles on every table. Instead of the vegetarian dish they are letting us have eggplant parm. Italian cookies on each table, ice cream sundae bar and cappaccino and espresso, they are giving us extra stations for the cocktail hour. They gave us ALOT for our money. They are very accommodating. If you go talk to Kim or Frank they are both extremely helpful!

Floral Terrace I believe begins in the $120 per person range. BUT BUT BUT they do not include a 20% service fee. (only Floral Terrace and Sand Castle do not charge 20% service) If you go with $100 per person guess what? You will be paying $120 per person with the 20% gratuity. I would call them and speak to Frank. He will work with you and he is amazing and the amount of food INCLUDED in crazy and so worth it!

Re: Hall Quotes????
Crest Hollow quoted me 80++ pp for a friday night in May. I haven't booked them yet but hopefully I will on Sunday when we go in for the tasting. They do have more than 1 wedding at a time which is a deal breaker for some brides but i absolutely fell in LOVE with the place and think its amazing for the price so I was able to overlook that. hth :)

Re: Hall Quotes????
Getting married at Woodbury CC July 5, 2012. My quotes won't help you as you're looking at a completely different time of year but you could probably get under $100/person with a lot if not everything included. The outdoor cocktail hour was one of the biggest selling points and if you do it in late summer/early fall you'll get to take advantage of it. Good luck. FM me if you ha e any specific questions.

Re: Hall Quotes????
Best to get quotes from the place not us... but a Friday, Sunday, weeknight or daytime wedding would be cheaper than a Saturday night- that's the most expensive night.
I will tell you my sister is doing a september wedding on a Sat night @ Woodbury CC and it is more than $100pp.
Also, 120 is sort of a small wedding. You should find out what the minimums are for these places otherwise you have to pay for the seats you don't fill. The places I looked at all had at least 175 minimum.

Re: Hall Quotes????
Westbury Manor quoted me just under $80pp for October 12, 2013. Their staff seemed very helpful on the phone and via email, but I ended up going a different route. HTH!

Re: Hall Quotes????
Crest Hollow quoted me $110++ for a Saturday night May-Oct and did not mention that I had to have a minimum amount of people. Westbury Manor quoted me $100 for a Friday night July-October but they had a 175 person minimum. For a Saturday night it was $125++ unless I went into November than it was $109++ for a Saturday night. (This was all without any negotiating though)
Hope that helps!

Thank You so much for the information!!! They are one of the few halls that have small rooms that would accomodate my size wedding. Did you go for a food tasting? It looks very nice from their pictures online however, I don't know how their food is. That is also a deal breaker for me. I'm calling today to book an appointment.

I was very upfront with Crest Hollow as far as the amount of guests I would be having. Since I wanted either Sept or October 2013 they told me their min. for a Friday night was 100 ppl but Sat. was 150 ppl and I could choose whatever room I wanted. I also called Westbury Manor and was told that their price pp was less than you were quoted for a Friday wedding in Sept/October and their min. was 100 ppl. I hate that they give out different information.

Thanks for the information! I called Woodbury CC and they told me that a Friday night would be $90pp but I would have the guarantee 150 people and they seemed like they would budge. So I guess WCC is out. :(

I called Floral Terrace to schedule an appointment to view the grounds and room and was told off the bat that their min. for a Friday night was 175 people for Sept/October. My sister in law got married there years ago and had about 125 people. I doubt they would come down on their min. guarantee amount of guests. :(

it is so frustrating! i've been collecting quotes from here and its always so different from what I get told over the phone! everybody keeps syaing thatched cottage is reasonable and i got quoted 130++ for a sat night!!!! I'm pretty sure thats not the price girls on here have booked with! maybe its just easier in person. i'm out of state though so i'm forced to use the phone to narrow down

That's a great price and it looks very nice from their website but I just googled the directions and its a little out of the way for some guests. My family is from the Bronx and my fiance's family is from Queens so it will be a trip for some. Thanks anyway!

Thats's another place I had some pricing discrepancies with! I got quoted 85++ with 150-175 guests and a military discount
