Halle Berry's dress...wedding related

If anyone saw Halle's dress at the Oscars, I absolutely loved it and I know I could wear it well. (ok, enough bragging) You can see it at: http://www.hallewood.com/ROBINNEWSIMAGES/OSCARNIGHTPICS.htm My question is: do you think a white gown like that as a wedding gown is inappropriate or too revealing? Be as honest as possible please. Keep in mind that I'm having a nondenominational ceremony at the hall, not in a church. Thanks.

Halle Berry`s dress...wedding related

Hmmm... I'm on the conservative side, but I think that it would be too revealing for a wedding. IMHO, a wedding dress shouldn't be shear anywhere a low cut strapless dress would cover. The shape and style would work great though -- I'd just cover the belly! :-) Best of luck!!!

I tend to agree, but then again, who am I to tell you what to wear to your own wedding. The dress was stunning! If you want a show-stopper dress, have the body to wear it and don't care if other people think it is 'appropriate' then Go For It. (I also think it will be super expensive)

Halle's dress

I agree that it was gorgeous dress. There is a designer who does knockoff oscar fashions, and he was doing her dress. However, it will be less revealing. He said it was going to be at neiman marcus among other stores. So if you decided to get it for another occasion, you may want to check it out there. He said his prices range are from $200 to approximately $400. Good luck.
