I voted Halloween, because I LOVE Halloween-its my favorite holiday and there is sooo much you can do with a Halloween theme. I wish I could have a Halloween wedding (can't due to FH's schedules).

what do you mean by theme? Would you have pilgrims and Indians around your rh or will you be doing more of a fall colored them with fall leaves, hay stacks and cornucopias?

Nonono, no pilgrims & natives. It's mainly going to be a fall theme, but I want to have hints of either Thanksgiving or Halloween. If we did Halloween, maybe we'd have some candies on the table, if we did Thanksgiving we wouldn't. We want it to be subtle but noticeable.
Also, if we chose October 30th to get married, I feel that it would become Halloween by default. So if we don't want a Halloweeney feel, we don't want that date.
