Halloween Stuff is out ALREADY!

I got butterflies yesterday when I walked into Party City and saw that ALL their Halloween stuff is out. It finally hit me that my day is rapidly approaching

Wow your having a Halloween wedding.. that is awesome that was a big dream of mine, but my FH wasnt to crazy about it. plus are getting married at church so we need to be a little earlier in the yr. are you doing anything to make reference to it being halloween?

I know - even Hallmark is starting with it. It's FREAKING ME OUT!!!

ETA: But at least it's giving me more ideas and makes finding things for the gift bags, etc. easier!!

I just wanted to wish you luck!!

My grandparents were married on Halloween, and they were married more than 50 years before my grandfather passed away. I wish you all of the luck that they had- getting married on that special day.

They said that one of the reasons that they got married that day, was so that their kids would never forget their anniversary!!!

I saw HAlloween candy in the supermarket yesterday and almost fainted. It is really coming quickly!!!!

Aww...thank you so much, I hope we are as blessed! FH will never forget our anniversary either

That's funny, we wanted to get married on a Sunday in October and it just so happened that Halloween was on a Sunday, so it was FH's idea. I was totally against it, but then I started to think about how beautiful an autumn theme would be and now I'm SO carried away. PLus our hall worked on the price for us

We're doing alot of leaves, pumpkins and fall colors. Our invitations, place cards and programs have a leaf print. Our place card holders are mini pumpkins, our favors are stained glass pumpkins. Our OOT guest bags are trick or treat bags and we're putting a small bag of halloween candy at each place setting. We're also using a dance mix of Thriller as our entrance song, but that's as halloween as it will get.

Aww, you're wedding will be amazing. I can't believe that they have Halloween stuff out already either, it's crazy how quick the time is flying.

oo you should see come of the really kooky stuff we picked up at michaels - we got a really cool plasma pirate skull we are going to use at the front entrance -

I LOVE HALLOWEEN I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

Jeannie-Marie, I think I would have done what you are doing just enough to acknowledge the holiday but keep it wedding like too. That time of yr will be so nice, you picked an amazing place to have your reception. That was my one of my choices also. Like I said we are not getting married at a church and we wanted to get married outside so we needed a bit earlier in the year. Good luck to you and have a wonderful time. You will be so happy you went with that date.
