I'm new to the boards just want to say Hi to everyone!!!
Me & the FH are thinking about Halloween for our wedding day. I don't think there would be a shortage of ideas for a theme, we both love the fall and halloween is our fav. hoilday. Just want to know what do you girls think? But i've also been told that Friday weddings are a lil crazy for the bride and bridal party and that a saturday wedding would be better. Let me know what you think

Hi congrats on the engagement and welcome to the boards! Let me first off by letting u know that u cannot listen to what everyone says ...i'm sure every girl on here will agree. I think the halloween wedding is a great idea and if u would like to do it on a friday then u should! Just make sure you have fun planning ...dont get stresses

Hi and Congrats!! I agree, don't listen to other people, i'm learning that myself. I think a Halloween wedding would be awesome, no matter the day. It's your day, enjoy it!

Welcome! I too think it's a great idea! FH and I wanted to do a halloween wedding but he ended up talking me out of it, on top of the fact that my cousin got married last oct and my sister will be getting married next oct. We kinda felt like that theme would have just been really killed in my family by the time we got married.
Definitely do what makes the two of you happy though! That's what's most important!

I agree with the other girls. Do your own thing, whatever makes you happy. And just think, Friday wedding prices are usually cheaper, so maybe you can save some money

Congrats!!! I'm getting married on a Friday so I hope it's not as bad as 'everyone' says it is!! That's so awesome that you're thinking about having a halloween wedding.... Go for it!!!!

My boss actually went to a halloween wedding..where all the guests had to come in costum!! and the bride..well she came as a bride lol and the husband...forgot what he came as..but I love the idea!!..and my boss said that the reception hall was dark..to set the mood..and their were skull candles on the table..awesome right?
