Halloween wedding

Ok so here is my situation. I have quite some time before I have to have this wedding. But I don't want to wait till the last minute to get everything done. I need some help. I am having a Halloween wedding. Black dress costumes. the whole 10 yards. I needs ome advice on decorations. Where to buy them, what works for favors , and where i can get a zombie cake, I am in a small town so i would have to go out side to get the right cake. it is a small wedding on ly between 50 to 70 family and friends if that many.

any advice or suggestions.

You can make lil jack-o-lanterns with tealights to go on the tables next to your center pieces.

Check orientaltrading.com for decorations and some ideas. I LOVE that site.

I think you need to be VERY dilligent THIS haloween and really start looking at the merchandise as its put on the shelves.

Buy some things that you think would add to the mood/decoration you want. Do you want all out haloweeen? Touches of it? Something in between? Classy or scarry.......

Make some decisions once the stuff starts to go out in September.

1. DO NOT WAIT TO BUY WHAT YOU WANT! If you wait till AFTER haloween what you want wont be available.

2. DO WAIT till after haloween to see if there is anything left over in the stores that you could use. This way you can get a bargain and maybe get a gem or two.

3. Also, when I was in New Orleans they sold very inexpensive feather masks (the kind just for your eyes). You can get those and put them on peoples chairs for the reception.

Also make a list of stuff you like in the stores THIS YEAR, but maybe need to wait on. Like jack'o lantern peeps. You dont want to store candy for a year. So next year you know what you want to buy for the wedding as it goes on the shelves.
