Halls for Large Weddings??

Hey girls - a friend of mine needs some help. They are planning a humungo wedding and mine is going to be way on the smaller side so I feel like I can't really help.

What are some RH that will accomodate really large groups? Let's say 300??

I told her ot look at Capitale, which I think is gorgeous but it doesn't get the best reviews for planning on the boards.

Her FSIL is getting married at the East Wind, so I think that's out.

Russo's On The Bay - they have a very large room. I believe their big room can hold up to about 400 people

huntington Hilton-- they can hold up to like 1200

Check out the mansions on LI -- they can DEFINITELY hold the amt of ppl you need-----Bourne Mansion, Glen Cove Mansion, Oheka Castle, there is another mansion over by the CW Past campus (not sure the name of it) I think if you Google Gold Coast Weddings, they will give you a list of the mansions on LI

I had the same problem. I am having a very large wedding too. The places that could accomodate my numbers were:

Lands End
Flowerfield
North Ritz Club
Jericho Terrace
Fox Hollow
Crescent Beach Club
Bridgeview Yacht Club
Floral Terrace
Villa Lombardis

That's a good list... oh and don't forget Oheka. They can accomodate up 4 or 5 hundred which is great!!

I got married at Leonards and we had about 325 people and were fine. I saw a previous post about the FOX hollow and I think their largest room can no way accomodate 300 people unless you are on top of eachother. Also I know Watermill, Russo's, Chateau Briand can accomodate a large party and floral terrace.
