Halls have me going INSANE!

I feel like i'm at the start of being a Bridezilla and i dont even know what to do.

I just can NOT find a place we both love.

We really like Jericho Terrace but FH isnt sold.

We went to Villa Lombardis last night and I really thought going into it that it was going to be the one. I just wasnt impressed. I was upset about the prices. (before going in, we told the BM what we wanted to spend, and that i did NOT want to come in if they couldnt give us that price.They convinced me to come in, and couldnt give us those prices, pretty much just wasted everyones time) We loved the cocktail hour room, but that was it.

We've looked at
Chateau Briand (not our style)
Crest Hollow (loved, but FH thinks its too blah)
Larkfield Manor ( I didnt like the room)

CLM is out because we just had a family party there. (And me and my ex fiance were supposed to get married there)

I don't like ugly rugs. lol
We're doing a Sunday night in March and dont want to spend so much $$ per person (ideally, like the $70 or 75ish pp mark before tax and grat.).

I'm starting to feel like we'll never find the place :(

What other qualities are you looking for?? on the water? one wedding at a time? pretty grounds for pictures?

not really too picky otherwsie. I just dont want an ugly carpet. FH wants an ice sculpture (thats all hes askign for for the whole wedding lol)

besides that nowe're pretty open

swan club
westbury manor

try north ritz club....it might be a little out of ur price range tho
...otherwise for that price range id try maybe swan club or leonards

yep! we want a sunday. Another one of our problems is we arent negotiable on the date. HAS to be March 13, 2011 lol which is a sunday

its a silly thing, but we all have our silly things that really matter to us on our wedding day. And thats one of them for me.

Personally, I think the JT rugs are ugly and I'm booked there! Granted, there's no rug in the rooms, but in the halls and stuff.

Why doesn't FH want to have it at JT?

i don't think anyone should apologize for any opinions we may have or state out loud.
its just an opinion. someone else doesn't have to agree with it. we can't all like the same things.

one person may see an ugly rug and someone else may see a royal carpet....its in the eye of the beholder.

my hall has a rug that we're not crazy about but the OP is right, no one is going to remember something like the carpet.
granted the carpet is not everywhere - but still

LOL FH and I always notice the rug!!!!

But honestly you are right. Most people remember their interaction at the wedding.
