Larkfield Manor in E. Northport in Suffolk is very elegant with a pretty garden with bridge and gazebo. The staff is fasbulous and prices reasonable and food too too delicious.
What kind of grounds and how many people? Harbor Links in Rosyln is on a beautiful golf course, Westbury Manor has beautiful gardens
A lot of places have beautiful grounds but your budget and amount of people will have to be considered also.

It sounds like you might want to check www.weddingsitesandservices.com Or in the planning tab of this website, there is also a reception hall guide that will give what amentities facilities include, and approximate prices per person. They usually have them separate from Nassau vs. Suffolk or will have the town listed in an easy-to-read format. That might be more help to you, since you didn't mention approximately how many guests you are having, what time of year, what your budget is, etc. (Just keep in mind, I do think to be listed on either of these, the halls must pay, so it won't be 100% all encompassing, but it's a GREAT start!) Good luck, and hope this helps!
