Hi, so I really had not idea of what kind of wedding dress I wanted so I went to brides.com and did a search. After a REALLY long time I think that I like halter neckline dresses. I just can´t find one where I say 'That´s the dress!!'. I usually find something I would want to change in almost everything I´ve seen. Does anyone have pics of Halter dresses they´ve used or seen used? Or even one of the web that they really like?
I´ve been searching for so long that they are all starting to look the same. I don´t want the dress too body hugging because I have too much to hug in certain spots!! It´s ok if it´s sugger on top but I do want it to go out a bit in the skirt. I don´t like straight lines for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (its so hard doing this online as opposed to in person!!)

I did have a halter neckline wedding dress. It was very plain and simple so I'm not sure if you you are looking for something more embellished. It gathered toward the left side of the hip with a flower. Feel free to look at the pics in my album under wedding pics.

I really wanted a halter but there arent many out there. I tried on one by Demitrios. Its a ball gown and was way to big for me on the bottom but was a really pretty dress.

The halter was optional on my dress but I loved it because it was narrower than the typical halter style. I always felt as though halters closed me in because the straps were too wide. Here are a couple of pics. It's an Alfred Angelo style.

a lot of designers or bridal salons can add a halter, try looking at some strapless dresses and call around to see if the halter straps can be added.

i hadn´t thought about that. I like the idea though because there are some strapless dresses that I really liked. Now I´m going to have to look through the strapless dresses too! At least I still have time!! Thanks

I think you need to try them on. I too pored over websites and magazines, and went in with fistsful of pictures. I ended up with something COMPLETELY different !
