My wedding gown is a halter top? Does anyone else have a halter top and if so, can you wear a necklace with that?

mmm i'm not wearing a halter top gown but i am wearing a halter top dress to a wedding this Friday! i think depending on how the halter is cut, generally it's hard to wear a necklace. if your halter has one of those peek holes you could prob slip something small underneath do you have a pic?

I have a halter too - I am not wearing a necklace. The straps would get in the way and I think it has enought detailing to not need one. I am only going to wear earrings and a bracelet.

that neckline on your dress is so stunning---you don't even need a necklace. instead, you can get fabulous earrings and a gorgeous bracelet!

I was very close to purchasing a halter top gown. If I had, I would not have worn a necklace with it. That was one of the reasons I did not get a halter top gown. I am a jewelry fanatic and I could not imagine wearing a necklace for my wedding.
That's just me though.

I have pictures of my friend's wedding in my album- she had a halter gown and the bp wore halter gowns as well.

I agree...I think a necklace will ruin the look..Its a beuatiful dress..w/o any jewerly. But if you do want jewerly a nice bracelet and earrings will do.

Same here but the bracelet is going to be thick. Not just one strand. I did the same poll and got great advice. I'll try to find it for ya!

I absolutely love halter tops. I dont think you need a necklace, though. Just some great earrings will do.

I say no necklace...just a great pair of earrings. All of the bridal magazines just put earrings with a lot of dresses to show off the dress more. I think it will be beautiful that way.
