In reading alot of posts when other brides are wondering where to go for a cheaper per plate hall alot of responces are willow creek. And my Fh and I wanted to keep the pp price with tax and grat. below 100.00pp. We booked willow creek and on the sun night, the day before memorial day weekend Barbara gave me a price of 95pp w/o tax and grat. Did I get ripped off ......? Ohh and its 2009...? It came to about 123.00 pp. Did anyone pay less than that and if so should I call her and see if theres anything she can do. We absolutly loved the place and want it to be no where else. Thanx

Re: Hamelt Willow Creek???????
HWC was super affordable for us... but we also booked before the place opened and got pre-construction pricing, so that was why it was so much more affordable... honestly, even at a higher price, I would still have my wedding there in a heart beat. It was a beautiful place, the food was amazing and it was perfect for the kind of wedding that we wanted...

Re: Hamlet Willow Creek???????
My pricing was only a bit less than yours... BUT we are doing an afternoon and we booked last year for this May. And we are NOT getting a holiday weekend.. all little things that may cause the price to fluctuate a bit.
My experience with Barbara so far is that she is very level headed and to the point. She doesn't seem like the type who will make you haggle for the best per person pricing.
I think your price is great.. the place is beautiful, clean and gets AMAZING reviews for service and food. Plus they do EVERYTHING for you! I asked Barbara if she could send me directions so I could have direction cards printed for the invites. She said 'Don't spend extra on that.. just tell me how many you need and if you want them in white or ivory.' I asked if I had to have people come early to set up Centerpieces, guest book, etc... and she told me that they will do EVERYTHING and I can just sit and relax!
And you get SO many upgrades already included in the pricing. Most places would have you pay extra for the herb lamb chops and the sushi bar!
Don't sweat it. You didn't get ripped off. You are getting an remarkable place at a really fair price! CONGRATULATIONS!

I paid only a little less than you per person and got maried this past July. I think that is a super affordable price for 2009. Even if I had to pay more money, I would have had my reception there, no doubt about it. The place was AMAZING, and Barbara is great to work with. HWC is the one thing that I did not have to worry about when planning my wedding. We still get compliments about the place.
