Hamlet Golf & Country Club, Commack

Hi! Can anyone tell me anything about the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack? I heard about it from a friend. We are looking at about 225-250 people. Any info would very much be appreciated!

Hey there. Not sure of how much help this is, but Im using the Hamlet Wind Watch in Hauppauge. Ive been to a wedding there and booked them for next March. The decor is beautiful and simple, the food delish and prices reasonable. They are owned by the same company.

I am having my reception there, although there are not many of us on this website who are, which I think is a great thing! If you haven't been there yet I will give you an update. They just did a $500,000 renovation to their ballroom. Let me tell you it is unbelievable. I am getting married in Sept and I love the fact that EVERYTHING is brand new. New plates, chairs, carpet, window treatments, everything! It is a huge room with high ceilings which could easily hold that many people. I have not heard anything bad about this place. Great fod, etc...Good Luck!

I looked there and it was really nice. I am glad they did a renovation on the ball room, because I wasn't to thrilled with it. I heard the food is fantastic!!

I am getting married at the Hamlet in Hauppauge and I love it. I just had my food tasting, and it was great! The one in Hauppauge says it fits over 200 but I think it would be too tight.

Did you look at the Hamlet in Mount Sinai, it is so beautiful!! It is a brand new building, only a couple of months old. My cousin works their and says they have great weddings. Cjb88 just had her wedding their and said it was great!!

YES!!! I got married in October at the Hamlet Golf & Country Club, Commack and have only RAVES!! FM me if you have any questions about the place...but I can honestly tell you that my mother and MIL received calls for weeks after the wedding about how amazing everything was, and the food was out of this world. They did everything up so nice, and Denise (director of catoring) was such a pleasure to work with. There are a zillion nice pics of it in our album on Verdi's website. You can go to www.fotoverdi.com and click on recent weddings...then click on Cheryl and Clifford Catropa and enjoy. Grab some tissues though...Verdi puts the nicest music with their pics and are so talented that everyone says they cry. hehe

Also so so so many pretty Hamlet pics in my album on LIW too.


This is my lovely reception before the guests arrived (we didn't do floral CPs because I married a funeral director...kind of gives the smell of flowers a different meaning to us). My album also shows great pics of the lobby and the fountain out back!

The fountain is in the perfect location for sunset pics (most romantic lighting).

When I told Denise at the Hamlet what I wanted to do for CPs since I bought the brandy glasses and candles myself, she said 'let me see what I can do' when I asked her where she thought I could get the best price on whole cranberries.....she ordered them with their food order and gave them to us as a gift!! Can you tell I am pro-Hamlet??
