Hi- We are thinking of getting married at the Hamlet Wind Watch in Happauge in August. Anyone have any info on the place. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry that your thread took the turn that it did. I was trying to help you when I posted orginally.
I actually spoke to a lot of people prior to booking the hall and got good feedback. You can ask them for references. Also they have a resturant that you can eat at. There is also a Hamlet in Commack, which is owned by the same company.

Hamlet Wind Watch-I went to a holiday party there...
and the food was very good. My fiance also brings a lot of his clients there and he always has good things to say about the food(I'm VERY picky about food and so is he). I wouldn't worry about it, many places don't let you taste prior to giving a deposit.
