Hamlet Wind Watch

Does anyone have pictures of the inside of HWW? We are very interested in HWW for our wedding next fall, and we would like some more feedback. So far, we've heard some great stuff from other brides here. Would love more critiques!

hey there! I am actually getting married there in a couple of weeks. There are a bunch of pictures of the inside in my albums. They also just got a new dance floor which looks really nice! I have had a great experience with them so far!

I was there for a charity event about a year ago. I thought it was nice but not that impressed with the food. I did think it was a great location if you had a kot of out of town guests or people who would stay over at the hotel. There was a nice bar if everyone wanted to hang out and extend the party.

I'm getting married there on Oct. 2nd. I love the look of the WW. Last time I checked there were pics of the inside on their website. It's definitely worth checking out. (I think it's a hidden gem!)

If you don't mind sharing, where have you ended up booking?

I totally agree with the above posted about the food - I have been to two weddings there, the first one the food was okay but the second one- this past July- cocktail hour food- particularly the slider stations was FREEZING cold - I think it was because of this that I got really sick-(i have a weak stomach) I didnt want to tell my cousin (the bride) because I didnt want it to upset her- I think one of my aunts actually told the staff because it was just unedible, FREEZING mini hamburgers and french fries- just really gross, they had a sushi station which i didn't eat from (again, weak stomach so cannot eat sushi unless i know where it is from), the calamari again was cold, and a chicken in almost a marsala sauce - okay but by that point i was feeling nauseous so i don't think it would have matter if it was out of this world or not. i think they also had eggplant parm which i heard was cold too and then a cold cut/cheese platter station... I'm not sure if it is because of the stations they selected or what not but if you do decide to book make sure you bring this to their attention. Also, the main courses are much better- the salads are great, the filet mignon is awesome and they give two cakes- an oreo one and a regular wedding cake plus a chocolate strawberry at the end that are really good. HTH!!

Really? My Mom just went to a wedding there a few months ago and she said the CH food was fanstastic-of course, some things were better than others.

We are getting married there in 4.5 weeks so she advised me to stay away from certain stations.

My sister got married there back in 2002. It was WONDERFUL. Her wedding there made me want to get married at a Hamlet myself.
