Danielle and I and our friends Kathy and Andrew who are also married are looking to goaway for Colombus day weekend. We are looking to go from Friday Oct 8th till Monday Oct. 11th. Danielle was thinking about going to Pennsylvania, but I was thinking that there is so much good stuff on Long Island that e never see and that I would like to see...In october there are craft fairs, and pumpkin picking, and the vinyards etc....
Can anyone recommend a Hotel or an INN that offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, or Just Breakfast and Dinner included in the price? Something that is inexpensive. I know it is a holiday weekend and prices are higher.

There is Dreamers Cove (Aquebogue) and The Bayview Inn (Jamesport) - both on the water. They are motels. www.northforkmotels.com. Do you want a B&B on the north fork? There is a pretty one but Ive never been in it, its just east of Jamesport town (not much of a town).
If you want vineyards you are going to want to be on the north fork. There are less than 5 on the south fork but more than 20 on the north.

Thanks everyone for the info...I didnt think picking a place to stay was going to be a such a nightmare. It is so hard to please everyone. We have to pick somewhere soon or we are going to be stuck...I am going to sleep now but I will look more in the morning at work. GoodNight, Scott
