Why should I get my invites hand canceled...I am not really sure what the pros and cons are? Just a little confused......
Thanks!

Re: hand cancel
I personally think it is a waste of time... it only eliminates it going through one of the machines...I didnt hand cancel and I sent an invite to myself, and it looked fine...

I don't think its worth it. I did not do it and all my invites made it intact. Its so it doesn't go through the stamping machine, but they are going to go through all kinds of sorting machines, so IMO its not worth the extra time. Just put the stamps on them and drop them off at the PO.

Re: hand cancel
It takes alot of time on your part. I did it for my e-party invites and I dont think it was worth it. They looked fine either way.

Re: hand cancel
I don't know if it is worth it or not... but when I went to buy postage I asked the girl at the post office. She said I should have them hand cancelled. So I brought them to Sayville Post Office this morning and handed them to the girl. There really was no con... I didn't have to do anything that I would not have normally done. I handed them to the woman, told her I needed them hand cancelled and she said 'No problem!' and I left.
It couldn't have been easier!

DItto! There was NO extra work on my part at all. I also used the same post office. They were very nice and also didnt charge me anything.
