Hand Cancel.....How can i Tell?

If my Invite was Hand cancelled? I just had 2 girls send me pics of the outter envelopes and they BOTH look very different.. LOL

The ink stamp that is usually put over the postage is put on with a hand stamper instead of feeding them through the machine...sometimes the machine can damage your invites or leave nasty scuffs on the envelopes.

most girls get their invites hand canceled to avoid any damage that may be causedd!

so then obviously that means we'd want our invites hand cancelled?

i thought cancel meant like they didnt get sent LOL

should i like demand the post office to hand cancel them? i hate having things to worry about!!

all my hand stamps were circular while the response cards had kermit the frog on them for the holidays

I plan on doing it...some post offices will say they will do it but then they don't, so I plan on standing there and watching them do it...or they can hand over the stamp and I'll do it myself.

Better to do at a random time of day so that they are not very busy.

no demanding necessary just drop them off at the window and ask the person for hand canceling. DONT put them in a mail box

i dont think the first was hand canceled...the 2nd im not sure...it doesnt even looked canceled cuz if you peel that sticker off the stamp is still good. the canceling is so u cant use the stamp again...the 2nd doesnt make sense

im sorry hun but it doesnt look like either were hand canceled?

in the first one, it looks like the machine went through because you see the marks on both sides of the circle thingy? maybe the 2nd was but the sticker is covering it.

The envelopes dont look bent or destroyed at allthough soooooooo hand cancel or not, i think it looks great!

and my cousins came back to my house (becuse she lives on the 1st floor) as if i never sent it out!!!! no stamp no marking no scuffing....NADA!!!! IM SCUUREDD!!
