Re: hand cancelling
It cost me 1.77 to mail each envelope (three 59 cent stamps) and I wanted them hand cancelled so that it would only be a round ink stamp in the corner and not big marks all over my envelopes and when my envelopes were actually mailed I personally think the person that was hand cancelling them at the post office must have been having a rough day because the ink stamps looked like a HUGE, BIG BLACK SMUDGE on the top of my envelope! I didn't know that it looked like that until I saw my sisters envelope and then my FIL's and I almost screamed lol but neither of them noticed it....I got a ton of compliments on the calligraphy from lots of guests, so I don't think many ppl were paying attention to the black smudge at top anyway.....Oh well!
