Hand Stamping..
Invitations...what does this mean?You don't just bring them to the post office? Can someone explain this to me please, I saw a post on this in the past

Do you mean hand canceling? This means you just don't put them in the mailbox at the post office, they do each one by hand. HTH.

.....but, that still doesn't mean that they won't be put through a machine and could get damaged. There is always a possibility of this, so I've been told and realized after some of my guests Save The Date's arrived crushed.

I brought them to the PO to get hand canceled and they did a wondeful job. (Centereach)

Same here...
If you have bulky invitations (with bows or other lumpy attachments) hand-cancelling is a good idea, but it's not really necessary IMO if they're normal (as mine were).

go into the post office and get the little circle stamp that has the date and town you're in on it. they'll probably make you do it yourself. but this prevents the invites from getting crushed b/c they are not going thru a machine.Welcome New Vendors
