So.... I have this idea to make our placecards in the shape of leaves (since it is a fall wedding). I was thinking it would be really cool to be able to hang them from a tree that can sit on a table of something similar. I know it is hard to picture, but does anyone know where I could buy/rent something like this? Thanks everyone! You guys alwasy have the best ideas!!

Your florist could probably help you with that. I'm sure they have trees you can rent, or they could make a CP with curly willow or some other branch and the placecards could hang from that.

Re: Hanging placecards?
Yes! Something like that.... I am not happy with my florist so I am hoping to figure it out myself. Thanks so much!
You can buy curly willow probably from any florist, or even order it on the internet. First find a vase, then buy the green florist styrafoam and Spanish moss (from Michael's or AC Moore). You'll want to hot-glue it in to the styrafoam. FM me if you want more info or some help (I used to work in an upscale home decor shop and we did custom silk floral arrangements, so I know how to do this kinda stuff).

Re: Hanging placecards?
I saw this at Tribecca: they had a HUGE tree constructed with placecards hanging down. It was a HUGE number of placecards. Took up the whole center of the hall. It was very creative.

Re: Hanging placecards?
maybe you can checke out homegoods? It's hit or miss there but I love their fake floral selections, not sure if you'll find something but it's definitely worth a shot
