Has anyone used or know anyone that used hank lane??
I know they are very high priced but just wanted to see if anyone used or is using any of there bands??

They were the first band we interviewed. They are a great band and were recommended to me by a co-worker who used them. The only reason we went with someone else is because the price they quoted us was twice as much as anywhere else.

they are very high priced but very good they always play at my hotel. but their are lots of good ones that are a bit cheaper make sure you shop around.

(yes prolly a little pricey- I have no idea how much they were- in laws handled the contracts) I think ours was a 6 piece band? or perhaps it was 8? I forget, more the 6. We had two of them for the ceremony, (keyboard & flute) and then the keyboard/ piano player for the cocktail hour... then the band for the reception.
anyways, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! They were nothing but amazing! The band leader touched based with me a couple months out I sent him my run down of the music that I wanted played (ceremony- processional and those special songs for the reception) - I'm a big music person so everything had to be perfect!
He even sent me an email a couple days out telling me to just enjoy the day and that he and the band were all set and to just call him if I needed anything or I had any other changes. They have great communication unlike my florist!
It was and we are still getting rave reviews for the music. If you can slurge on entertainment go for it! We saw them out our friends wedding two years ago and they did an fantastic job then, and even my DH's cousins weddings used Hank Lane... they are true pleasers.
Before you get to that later part you are matched with your band leader based on your musical tastes I was a little nervous back in January just b/c DH and I like such a variety. But they nailed it perfectly! They helped me create this amazing atmosphere of music that I wanted.

We had the Mike Herman band, a Hank lane band. Every guest said it wa hands down the best wedding band the ever heard. The dance floor was packed all night and they can do any song and genre you like. They played the perfect mix of songs to keep everyone on the dance floor.

Ok I never forgot this post and I always see bands every night and good ones so I felt so bad I could not tell you one so tonight at work we had a really good band and i GOT their card and from now on if I hear a good band i JUST collect their card. they were great I was dancing all night.( good music makes the time fly) any ways the band is called faze 4 www. faze4.com 516-482-5200 alright their is another wedding on sunday so I'll keep getting good info on bands for you guys

THANKS GIRLS! WE BOOKED A HANK LANE BAND... WE ARE USING THE MICHAEL HART BAND ...SO EXCITED...THEY SOUND AMAZING AND PLAY A RANGE OF SONGS..
