We are thinking about booking the Russ Bennett band as part of Hank Lane bands. I have heard a lot of great things about the company but nothing about this band in particular. Any info would be great!

I am using Pete Saunders from Hank Lane.
We picked this band because we want all 60's 70's 80's. Nothing really new. No rap, no hip hop.
So if the people at Hank Lane said they would be good for the kind of music you want played, it should be great.

Can I ask how Hank Lane works? I just sent them an e-mail through their website but what happens from there? Do you meet with them and they match you up with an appropriate band or something? Do they do showcases for their bands? They have 20 or something right? What are their prices like? Sorry for bombarding with questions. I am just excited and confused! TIA!!! I have HIRED the Pete Saunders band. They are supposed to be FAB and be very flexable with the kind of music I want.

When I went to book *A* band I sat down with the booking guy (cant remember his name).
We talked about the kind of music I wanted and what I wanted played. Based on that he told me what band he reccomended. I want all 60's to 80's. I DONT want rap, hip hop or R&B.
I am CONFIDENT that this band will be EXACTLLY what we want. Hank Lane has a great reputation and it does them no good to put me with a band that does not suit my needs.
It was a great experience. Just make the appointment and speak with them.

Do these bands do showcases or do they just show up on the day of to play?

I booked MIchael Hart's band from hank lane. No, they do not showcase their bands. You meet with a booking consultant and explain your likes and dislikes and they match you up with a band that will be able to fit your needs. I met with Lori and I am very confident that this band will be great! HL has an amazing reputation!
