They don't really have set bands. You'll get the band leader put together with freelance musicians. They don't showcase and sell their bands via sales people. I prefer to see them live. Would you book a reception hall based on a photo?

Would you say they are on par with bands like Renegade and Heart and Soul?
I ask..b/c i didn't really like either...better than the standard...but still i wasn't blown away.

I met with Hank Lane and decided to not go with them since it all felt a bit factory like. There salespeople are like used car salesman. You don;t know what you are paying for. I just felt as if I was going to get 'punked' on my wedding day and I didn't want to have to worry about it.
For me it came down to Renagade and Faze 4 which are both AMAZING bands. I went with Faze 4 since it was more our style of music.

Hank Lane has many bands each one is different no band is par with the other. It's basically about good muscians. Some bands sound like train wrecks, their musicians don't follow the arrangements and play off key and all the wrong tempos. When you hear them live you know right away who are true professionals. Renegade is one of those bands that are right on key. Heart and Soul were OK just not my style. Times Square Orchestra is fantastic as well as Faze 4. You can tell they do this full time and love what they do. Also check out Code Bleu New York City Swing are also excellent muscians just to much of a show.

You should look into the Rhythm Shop. I believe they may be based in Jersey. I saw them at a wedding and they are amazing. They play in Manhattan about 1x/month.
