So for the first few weeks of being engaged I was always battling with either FH or my mom about where we were going to get married. I was miserable the first few weeks because it was constant fighting. FH wanted to get married at the venue- my mom wanted us to get married in Church. From the beginning I always said I didn't care either way. Well we went to a wedding expo at the venue and I got really upset when I figured out how the ceremony would be set up and the aisle I would walk down. It was not at all what I always dreamed about. FH and I got into a fight and all I said was I always dreamed of walking down a long aisle and this is not what the case would be if we get married at our venue. The fight was over and we hadn't talked about it again until this past weekend. Long story short out of no where FH just looked at me and randomly said 'how am I supposed to not let you have your dream of walking down a long aisle when we get married? Lets get married at the Church.' So we met with the priest last night and are now getting married at St. Patrick's in Smithtown!!

We had the same issue at first and my fiancé was just as wonderful and agreed to get married at the church too! Happy both 10/10/14 brides will have the perfect day ;)

ETA: I just saw that it's St. Patrick's in Smithtown, I'm getting married at St. Patrick's in Bay Shore.. I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful!

I've never been to St. Patrick's but I've heard it's an absolutely beautiful church!

I know I'm sooo happy!! The rest of the girls need to get engaged so they can join our fun lol
