The firm gave us a breakfast, a gift (a nice insulated coffee container with the travel cup with a bag for the container), the associate that I work for gave me flowers on Monday so that I could enjoy them all week, the legal assistant I work for gave me a nice candle from Sephora and the partner I work for gave me nothing (as usual ).

Technically, I'm not an 'adminstrative professional'
but we have such a small staff, I kinda am one. ( and a supervisor-imagine that!)
no one ever mentions it though.
my dad always gave his secretary flowers or something.
But then again, its not like I get my boss a card for bosses day. . .

i'm always afraid it will be considered kissing up. I do like her though.

I got munchins for her birthday. but we always get each other birthday stuff. it dates back to whenteh comany used to buy us lunch for birthdays. they stiopped, so we buy snacks ourselves.
