I'm sick as a dog. I was supposed to go to work today b/c I work in a shelter so unless we request off, we don't get off. Which I don't mind. (double pay). Every year before, I've gone to FMIL's house. Now this year I'll be home alone, sick. FH will be at his Mom's house. He promised he'd bring me home a good plate. I feel like poop, but I'm excited for Santa Claus to come out at the end of the Thanksgiving Day parade to signify the start of the XMAS season.
Ooops, the parade already ended, boy am I out of it.

we can wallow in misery together if you want my fh is in Iraq and I haven't gotten a call or an email , i was kind of hoping to hear from him for the holiday.

I saw Santa!! Hope you did too and he cheered you up.. Feel better!!! Now its ok to listen to Holiday music and decorate the house!! Woo HOO!! Feel better!! rest up!

I'd be happy to share this Thanksgiving with you. I'm having a crappy one too. Dad is sick, Grandma is in the hospital and mom hadn't planned on cooking. So basically it has been a hodgepoge of everything here. I guess its one of life's lessons...make do with what you've got!
