that FH & I decided on having the wedding in NY...AGAIN!

im just happy to have a decision, after being engaged for a year and going back and forth on the where/when

we are hoping to keep it intimate- 80 ppl

sooooo

give me your recs on nice halls that have low minimums
we are even willing to do it on a thurs

must have nice indoor ceremony option!

yayayayay!

Ill def be at the Bridal Expo with FH!

Sent you FM!! A lot of places will have small min. as long as you arent picky with what room obviously. And of course if you are willing to do a thursday that is even better!

my list of what I havent seen would be a LOT cheaper

my 2 fave places that Ive seen are

The Royalton
Carlyle on the Green
(also really liked Bourne-but didnt like site fee)

not sure if either would budge on minimum for a thursday

also really want to go see Inn at New Hyde Park- office was closed today so couldnt get info over the phone

thinking of going to see Westbury Manor bc I keep hearing great things about it

Out of any of the other places you listed you like Carlyle on the green the best and the Royalton? I have never been to either but have heard about them. I went to look at alot of halls to and i think its hard to pick since there are so many.

What are you looking to pay and what kind of setting?

INN @ NHP has high min for Sat night - we were looking at it but they required 225 min for a Sat in Sept/Oct which is what I asked about, they had 175 for Fri & Sunday...

thanks..we know we cant do sat night...if we liked the Inn, wed try to do it on a thursday night

Sarena- we dont really have a particular style...something simple and elegant
nothing gawdy or over the top

and looking at 100 pp and under.

check out Riverview in Oakdale. Its right on the water and it would accomodate the intimate wedding that you are planning on having!!!! They just renovated it too

YAY Congrats... I was going to say Westbury Manor for sure or even the Irish Coffee Pub, im not sure b/c i havent been there myself but i know they accomodate smaller weddings.

Leonards will work with you with a lower minimum.
if yourinterested in the Queens area, Vetro's the other RH owned by Russo's on the Bay, is perfect for smaller weddings.
