Happy Hour Suggestions?

Hi ladies....does anyone know of any good happy hour spots in Manhattan? somewhere in midtown?

i'm meeting up a friend from Orlando...who i havent seen in almost 7 years!

Sutton Place (around 51st or 52nd and Second) - has a rooftop

230 Fifth (230 Fifth Ave on corner of 27th Street) - rooftop with awesome views but is kinda pricey

Local (31st bet 7th & 8th)
Stout (31st bet 6th & 7th)

You should take her to a rooftop bar! It will be packed but totally worth it!

The rooftop at the empire hotel is cool. It has an indoor and outdoor area. The dream hotel has a nice rooftop too. Both are UWS

Also fun is rareview in murray hill.

Local has that... but the building is only 2 stories so the roof is not very far up!

Definitely recommend Sequoia's at the seaport. A lot of people go to Red for Happy Hour, but you may get rained on it if does rain later.

well......i picked midtown only because that's where her hotel is and if its raining it'll just easier to stay around there...BUT i dont mind downtown...!!!

Just FYI ... My company is doing a company sponsored happy hour at 230 Fifth tonight so it may be even more crowded than usual!

If you don't have your heart set on happy hour - there's a bunch of free stuff going on in the city tonight - that might be fun for a tourist...and you can bring food/drinks.
