FH and I had a an appointment today with Kelly, the wedding concierge at Russo's on the Bay. Originally, I was going to reschedule since I have been sick but I was too excited to wait. As usual the staff was attentive from the moment we walked in the door. We sat with Kelly for close to two hours, going over vendors and our timeline. She was great, very helpful and informative. Frank Russo came and spoke with us regarding my concern about the rumors going around about Russo's. He put my mind at ease and I trust that Russo's will be around for a very long time to come. They gave us a gift, a wedding planner. So sweet of them. We chose our maitre d and blocked rooms at a local hotel for the night of the wedding. It was a very productive meeting and I left more sure than ever that Russo's is the right place for us. I can't wait to get married!!
Oh, something funny. We met with our banquet manager to drop off a deposit before we left and he informed the concierge that I was one of the most organized brides he had ever met. lol Made my day!

That's so great!! Sounds like a very productive meeting and a great team tehre at Russo's, I would be happy too! I love photographs and reviews of Russo's but alas, it was just too far from my home church for the ceremony, didn't want to make my guests travel too far. (I'm already making them drive a considerable 35 min from ceremony to reception hehe)
and Congrats on being organized!! I aspire to be as organized as you one day!! Hopefully one day before the wedding! hahaha

Russo's put a quick stop to those rumors. I've gotten several emails from Russo's disproving the rumors that had been circulating.
BTW for my Russo brides: Mr. Russo will visit your room during your wedding to make sure everything is going well. He not only speaks with you during your planning but also personally sees to it on the of that everything is going smoothly. Have no fear!
