Harbor Links, George Washington Manor or other unique RH?

Harbor Links, George Washington Manor or other unique RH?

Anyone been to a wedding or know anything about Harbor Links in Port Washington? I am also thinking of visiting George Washington Manor and Metropolitan in Glen Cove. I am looking for something a little different than typical LI catering Halls and trying to keep it under $90 pp. Any ideas? Nassau or Westchester preferred...

Thanks!

Check out San Souci in Sea Cliff. I thought that it was unique. It's a one event at a time place, and looks like a big victorian house. It's beautiful and the prices are great!

Website: San Souci

Good Luck!

Harbor Links was very expensive when I visited it- beautiful- but they wanted like $150 for a Sunday evening wedding- which is really high- George Washington Manor I visited as well- very pretty and the food there is good. I am getting married an Sans Souci- its an old mansion overlooking Hempstead Bay- very pretty and their food is amazing and pricing very reasonable- good luck!

We had our reception in the Presidential Room at the George Washington Manor. We had a little under 100 people, but they let us use the Presidential Room (which has a higher minimum). So, there was plenty of room.

Check out their website for pictures of their rooms.

Love GWM, I had my shower there.

Also check out the Royalton in Roslyn. I got married there in May. Its an old converted mansion...absolutely gorgeous!!!

Harbor links felt a little like a prefab building and I thought they were pricey compared to the Royalton. Also, didnt' like the office doubles as your bridal suite. The room felt like a regular catering hall.

Metropolitan in GC is beautiful for a small wedding. We were havine 200 and they wanted us to seat people upstairs. Didn't like that

George Washington Manor seems very old. A little like the Milleridge Inn

I do know that someone got married at the Royalton for $90 not sure what time of year but I know it was a daytime wedding. It is dueable.

I've been to a wedding the GWM and it was beautiful. We're getting married at Harbor Links next year and we love it. FM me if you want more info!

i would also consider the Woodlands in Woodbury....it's unique in that it's an old, historic mansion that's been restored

I booked at metropolitan for a wedding of about 120-140. The prices were great and they were willing to work with us. We also looked at Harbor Links as a close second, as FH really wanted an outdoor area with (as he put it) 'rolling green hills'. I didn't have the experience of some of the other girls who replied on harbor links in terms of pricing. they offered us under 100 per person for '09, so i wouldn't rule them out. I think it depends on what kind of look you're going for inside. I think metropolitan defintely has a more unique interior. FM if you have any questions on the specifics!

I've been to a wedding at Harbor Links and it was amazing!! Very beautiful grounds and the hall I believe was just remodeled.

GWM haven't been to a wedding but a lot of other parties and it was always nice.

Not sure, but I love Glen Cove (my ceremony is there at St. Patrick's!!), so I'd look into the Metropolitan. I thought we should've looked there, but now we have like 161 on our guest list and are doing STD's, and have had like EVERYONE already tell us they are coming!
