Hard boiled eggs...

Are a pain in the butt to peel! I just had to peel six of them to get the egg whites for my lunch tomorrow...jeez louise!

smash them a little bit on top of a paper towel. The shell should come off-not whole, but not in such small peices.

(probably too late to answer this one but i guess for the next time you make em)

what i do is run them under cold water...and if you didnt boil them long enough its going to be hard to take them off..!

After reading this I just decided I want to make hard boiled eggs but they NEVER come out right! So I googled the perfect hard boiled egg and found this little factoid.... Enjoy lol

'First make sure that you are using eggs that are several days old. If this is Easter time, and everyone is buying their eggs at the last minute, buy your eggs 5 days in advance of boiling.'

'Hard boiling farm fresh eggs will invariably lead to eggs that are difficult to peel. If you have boiled a batch that are difficult to peel, try putting them in the refrigerator for a few days; they should be easier to peel then.'

I had to peel ALOT of them 2 Christmas's ago because I was making a butt load for deviled eggs! Hey if we came up with an invention to help peel hard boiled eggs..... I bet we'd all get pretty rich!
