Hardest day of my life

one of my childhoos bestfriends called me early this morning and the first words out of her mouth where Rich is dead ( rich is her husband) I though she meant it in the he did something wrong and shes gonna kill him ....and I asked what he did and she was like no no he died...she is my age ( Under 30) with a 7 year old son. I left work to go be with her . They had gotten a hotel room last night with their son .(construction in the home) .we went there to get there stuff the ambulance people had left all of their used supplies every where ...I cleaned that up before I let her in but it has just been such a hard day . Her son is thankfully doing ok. She is doing as good as can be excepected . Its just I dont know...the idea that man our age died in his sleep from a yet unknown reason...he went to bed fine and passed during the early morning hours. I am thankfull to those ambulance workers who did every thing they could even though nothing would have worked because it helped her to think they did everything they could. thank you for listening and I am sorry this is so sad . I just am trying my hardest to be strong for her and her son and needed to get it out somewhere. The last year or so has been so completely trying and Im hoping to make it through helping her and the wedding . Thank you so much again .

OMG... I am so, so sorry for you and your friend. I can't imagine what I would do. It's great that you are there for her.

there are too many of these stories lately....it really breaks my heart im so sorry for your friend and her son - theyll be in my prayers

they wont know anything for a few days . they are doing the autopsy later today so maybe today we will not but they said prob not for a few days

This is devastating news. I don't even know what to say. This is so incredibly sad and i commend you for your strength through this difficult time. I will be praying for you all.

I can't even imagine what she feels like, I am so so so sorry, way too many similar to this lately.
You, your friend and her son will definitely be in our prayers.
