Re: HARRY POTTER

I'm worried that as I'm reading it I'll forget what happened in the past books. Should I reread them before I read this one????

Re: HARRY POTTER

The books always seem to recap the past events that are relevant, so I don't think you have to reread -- although rereading could be fun!

A request for all the Harry Potter readers -- Please, please don't post any spoilers unless the subject of the thread is very clear!!

Re: HARRY POTTER

Please don't say who dies. My book won't be here until next week and if it gets spoiled for me - I'll be so upset.

Re: HARRY POTTER

How much was it???

If I go tomorrow do you think they will still have a copy (Borders)?

Re: HARRY POTTER

Costco has them on sale for around 15.00 or so I was told.

I read the whole thing already (I'm a super fast reader) ...Yes, someone big dies (I can't believe who it is...I loved this character).

It wasn't my favorite Harry Potter...that's Prisoner of Askaban but it was readable. For me, it took almost 1/2 the book to really get into but once the action starts it gets better.

I just wish she'd publish them faster instead of once a year... It s**ks waiting this long! And it will s**cks once the are all done!

Happy Reading!

Re: HARRY POTTER

Mine arrived this morning - I ran out to the FedEx guy to grab it from him

$17.92 via Barnes & Noble...with tax & handling - $23.

I thought the Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) was the best until I read the Goblet of Fire (#4) - absolutely amazing! I read the 3rd one on the way to Germany and picked up the 4th one while I was there (so it's the English version) - finished that one on the return flight.

Re: HARRY POTTER

How did you finish the book already? You must have stayed up all night.

I preordered mine on Amazon and it only cost me $18.

I've read about 60 pages and I'm already ****ed in.

Re: HARRY POTTER

Well....Working in the library....I had 'access' to the book aa few days before it hit the bookstore shelves. We couldn't put the book out on the shelves for the public until Saturday when it was available in the bookstores but that didn't stop me from reading it on my lunches and breaks.

Sometimes its good to be a librarian
