Has anybody taken American West airline before?

I am helping me friend since we have never been or heard of the airline before.

I have taken all too many times to Vegas.
Editted to say: Take Jet Blue. You have leather seats and your own TV.

I flew America West to Veagas and had no problems at all. I hve never flown Jet Blue but I have heard nothing but good things about them

well, he's a guy and doesn't really care and it was cheaper of the 2 lol

Jet blue is better, but hey if it's a lot cheaper, it's fine..

I have flown America West twice (once to Las Vegas, once to Phoenix). I had no problems.

I have flown America West to Vegas numerous times and never had a problem. But I am a BIG Jet Blue fan and if I had a choice of the two definately Jet Blue. You have bigger seats and your own TV and can watch TLC and the flood network the whole time lol.

I have taken AW - flight was delayed and insanely overbooked (by 20 people )
and JetBlue - a pleasure as far as airline travel goes. The TV makes a big difference for passing the time.

Your pal made the right choice! Twice I took AW airlines and twice I almost didn't get home b/c of delays! Once they even rerouted me to Newark!!!! They are Baaaaaad news! The only up side, was my company paid for it or else I would have gone w/ another airline for sure!!

I flew them last year on a flight to Vegas, and we were delayed by 8 hours. We lost a whole day there, and they had nothing to say to us except that they gave us a $5 meal ticket. We finally got onto a flight, but by the time we got there it was already after midnight. I would never fly them again. I just took jetblue to florida and it was great. I would recommend them anyday.

Flew to Vegas on this airline this time last year with friends. Everything went very smoothly and it was a good experience. I would fly them again!

I travel a lot for business - go JETBLUE. Not only is the service good and you have the TVs in front of you they FEED you.

I know if I am on a plane for 5 hours I want some sort of meal. American West does not provide a meal and the seats are cramped.

My dad just flew America West to Vegas last week & he had no problems (maybe cause he flew first class?)


Johns friend's wife works for them, they live in AZ. so we get good deals
