Gone to the Riviera Maya in Mexico and stayed or know someone who stayed at either Paradisus, Adventura or Excellence Hotels? Or Occidental Xcaret?

FH has stayed at Aventura.
He said it was okay. He didn't like the fact that there was no beach there, it was just a lagoon. The food was iffy at best, and the drinks were pretty weak. And when they got there, there were two double beds. (FH went there on his first HM he may have also had a not so good time because he was with a frigid b1tch.... what, who said that?)
